About me

If you’re looking for my stuffy bio, click here. I’m happy to oblige.

If you would like to know what makes my heart beat, read on.

I am a small-framed woman with a God-sized dream. I give clout to the phrase “Dynamite comes in small packages.” To know me is to see the battle for which I was born is freedom! The freedom we have in Christ will require holy-explosives to break free from the ill-fitting chains that weigh us down.

I carry explosives with me at all times. It’s the Word of God in me.

I long to see the bride of Christ, the church, healthy (fit to live in their God-given identity and purpose) whole (not separated from God’s love) and free (free from the lies that separate us from God’s love). But as you know, freedom doesn’t come free. Freedom in Christ will cost us the life we think we deserve in exchange for the life God designed.

If you’re looking for someone to help you feel better, I bless you, but I am not your gal. If you are looking for someone to help you feel better AND get better, than we will get along just fine! I can be a friend who sticks closer than a brother (or sister) so close in fact I am sure I will bump up against you. Together we can see what comes out. You get to do the same to me.

I believe The Answer to our pain is often found in our pain. Let’s make our agreement now that we will not fight, bite or curse down one another when discomfort rises and we are tempted to blame. When things get bumpy let’s agree to bow our heads first to God and then to one another before we enter the fiery furnace of His love. His love is a consuming fire that burns off our ropes that keep us from loving well and living in liberty.

I am learning what it means to rest in God’s love and stand on His truth. Love without truth is like tooth-decay to the soul. And truth without love is oppressive. We can take one step in Love and one step in Truth. We can walk this Gospel life out together.

Everything I teach or share is based on what I know because it’s something the fire of God has done or is doing in me.

I am a living testimony of God’s redemptive story. Once an orphan-slave I am now a daughter of The King.

I am a woman who has found the only place she truly belongs is at Jesus’ feet. The irony is this; the more you know that’s where you belong, the freer you will become, then the more contagious your presence will be. When God begins to raise you up (because that’s what He wants to do with His disciples, the salt, and light of the earth), be sure to keep your eyes on Him and off the people. People can’t take you where God wants to go and your heart longs to be.

Trust God because you love and are loved by Him. Love people because you trust God. The world is waiting for us to show them a love that does not quit so they can receive a truth that heals and sets free.

I’m a teacher/trainer at heart, so I will close with this question: may I train your heart?
